How to have Custom ROM features on your Android's Stock ROM?

If you have installed Custom ROM anytime then you should know that how it feels like. You will get many modification and features in Custom ROM that you will not get on Stock ROM (default android operating system given by company). Just like Custom ROM with this method you can make changes in notification panel, status bar, battery icon, lock screen and many more. So keep on reading if you are interested in such changes.

Xposed Installer is the app related to framework made by XDA developer which is really cool way to change and modify you android ROM without modifying any APK files. This installer itself will not do anything for you, but after installing this you can install bunch of modules/apps which will only work after installing this Xposed Installer, and with those modules/apps you can do lots of cool changes(system related) on your android phone.

Different modules have different choices and features. I will explain different modules in details one by one in my next articles. But each of them has different functions and with them you can do lots of changes on your android phone and you can get functions like you get on custom ROM. So you can have experience of custom ROM with stock ROM with this app. Let me tell you how to install this app.

How to install Xposed Installer?

  • Download app from this link: Download (you will found it in download section)
  • After installing app open it and got to Framework, you will get below page.
[Install Xposed]
  • Now click on Install/Update button as shown in image and after few processes click on Soft reboot. (You must have rooted android phone for installing the framework otherwise it will not work)
  • It’s done. Now Xposed Installer is installed on your phone.
Now you can move towards module section.

How to/Where to install modules for Xposed Installer?

  • After installing Xposed Installer now go to Download section from the app.
  • Here on the top you will found Xposed Installer app itself which you have already downloaded, but you can download future updates from their directly.

  • After that on the list you will get all different kind of modules, just click on any one and you will found description regarding it.
 [Xpose Module Select and Download]
  • Now select any module you want to download and download it directly from the app. Just as above images.
  • After it finished you will found that particular module in Modules section on the first page.
[Select Module and then again click install/update]
  • Now just select (check it) that module from there and then again go to Framework section from first page and click on install/update button from it as mentioned above. After it again click on Soft Reboot button.
After phone reboots, it’s all done. You can use that module from the app menu of your android phone. You can install different modules and activate them using same method mentioned above from Xposed Installer.
