New tech war is on: BlackBerry is on move

BlackBerry has started a new war with the introduction of Z10 & Q10, which perhaps would give phone-5, Galaxy S-3 and Nexus4 a run for their money. Although some of the features of other companies have better features than these two new products where as BlackBerry is ahead.

Features

As far Z10 is concerned, it has 4.2” screen with 1280x768 resolutions that comes into 356PPI (pixels per inch) where as the phone-5 has 4” screen and resolutions at 1136x640 with 326PPE and Samsung’s Galaxy S-3 having screen size 4.8” with resolution at 1280x720 and PPI at 768 is far ahead. Google’s Nexus4 with screen size 4.7 at resolutions of 1280x768 and PPI of 320 are as good.

Camera

Blackberry has a rear camera of 10.8 mega pixel and a camera at front of 2 mega pixel which are better than Galaxy S-3’s  8 mega pixel rear camera and 1.9 front camera.  iPhone-5 also has 8 mega pixel rear but only 1.2 mega pixel in front and Nexus4’s rear camera of 8 mega pixel and front cam of 1.3. So camera is a big plus point for Z10 giving it a clear lead on others.

Processor Speed

If we compare processors of different phones in this category, BlackBerry Z10 has 1.5 gigahertz and 2GB RAM where as iPhone-5 has dual core A6 CPU processor, Galaxy S-3 1.4 Quad core Cortex A9 processor and Nexus4 with Qualcomm Quad core processor, so this feature is not strong point of Z10.

Memory Space

BlackBerry Z10 is available with 16GB memory extendable 32Gb through a micro SD card where as others in this category iPhone is available in 16, 32 and 64 GB memory versions. Galaxy S3 with 16 and 32 GB and Google is far behind with only 8 and 16 GB with no option for micro SD card.
